My Background

In addition to my private practice I work in the schools with complex children and teens living with mental health needs and differing abilities. I conduct psychoeducational evaluations that look at cognitive, academic, adaptive, social, behavioral, and emotional functioning. I consult with educators and parents navigating the needs of students receiving special education services.

In the past I utilized my Bachelors in Child Development to teach preschool and outdoor education, and manage youth mentorship programs. I've also worked as a Certified Counselor with adults in transitional living facilities.

I completed my graduate studies at Seattle University in 2017. I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Associate (LMHCA).

About Me

I used to swim to the point of exhaustion, surprised one day to feel a sprout within me, which I labeled the "tattered thread of self". When I took up my healing work I learned how to nourish that sprout; how to listen to it and trust it. I learned how to mend and grow it; how to come into my own embodiment. Finally, I learned about the place in that sprout that had always been whole. I learned that that place is my soul.

I went from feeling as though I belonged anywhere but in my own body, to knowing my home in her. I went from feeling as though I should be anyone but myself, to understanding that who I am has a place in this world. I aim to bring the same felt knowing of self to young people; to together nourish each individual sprout.

I live on the Olympic Peninsula, in Washington State. In my free time I enjoy backpacking, dancing, soaking in hot springs, reading, making art, gardening, being with loved ones... and swimming- slower than before.
